Addendum from letters 2001

About Sally C. Guthrey Adams- her father was a veteran of the Civil War (Rufus Guthrey) and he was married to a girl whose last name was Vaughn. Mr. Guthrey was a Tax Collector for Forsyth County. My father remembers a cousin named Curtis Vaughn and Uncles Belle Vaughn and Sam Vaughn. Rufus Guthrey is buried in Cumming.

She mentions her father's sister Mrs. Mamie D. Ross of Tifton, GA no 5 above.

Question about the Bacon's:
I have no clear idea who they were, my father only remembers a Dr. Bacon who introduced a better type of Georgia peach.
