Henry C. Brown married Ekiz Braddy 24 Aug 1876.
On the 1910 census he is 65 and a widower living with his son 'Henry B. and his wife Eveline Scales Brown.
He is a blacksmith and has his own shop.
He owned a half acre lot on the west side LL 8 - 2- 1 known as the Easter Boyd place which he bought in 1911 from Easter Boyd for $40 (which would indicate there was a building on the property).
His 1912 taxes were paid by his administrator.
Check Minute Book M (1914) pages 117 and 155 to see if this is the same Henry C. Brown.
You can see which heirs were paid.
If it is the same he also had so he owned 52 acres of LL 1059-3-1 that he bought in 1903 for $60.
The deed says "all of that lot" except 7 and one-half acres in the southwest corner where the colored Methodist campground is located.
There is a lien recorded against Henry B.'s colt , the get of a bay mare
This was filed by Mr. Gilstrap of Milton County.
The mare was serviced by Gilstrap's stallion McClary on May 18, 1912.
